That's the first thing I thought when this game was recommended to me, but can you blame me? With the constant onslaught of free2play WoW rip-offs, seeing anything "____Craft" is suspect. Minecraft is nothing close to what I had expected. It is a sandbox environment where you're given the ultimate set of virtual Legos, and to quote the website, "..a game about placing blocks while running from skeletons."If I can sum it up even further, it's like FarmVille plus zombies, minus the...
You may have remembered hearing that Glyphs were changing from consumable items to learnable skills. Last build we saw the makings of that—now, when you use a glyph, it goes into your general tab of the spellbook, ready to be used whenever you want to place it. Well in this latest build Blizzard has taken it a step futher and given the glyphs tab of your talent frame a complete makeover!First off they've vastly increased the size of the frame—it's now the same size as the talent frame. You n...
Epic map update! We've got tons of new maps straight from the latest Cataclysm beta patch, including new maps for classic dungeons and raids! Hopefully leveling in the newly streamlined Cataclysm questing zones doesn't go too fast so players will actually have a use for 'em! At least players will no longer have to discover a low level dungeon before being able to queue for it. Now all they need is to add a tour guide to Sunken Temple - you may laugh, but they actually did add tour guide NPCs to ...

Our beloved "silent co-developer" mystadio has yet again dug up some cool new icons from the latest Cataclysm beta patch, including icons for some interesting new archaeology items and more! I'm sure we'll see the items (or related spells, at least) added to our Archaeology category in a future patch, but in the meantime we can speculate on how awesome they're going to be just from the filenames. :)We've got a few changed icons, as well, including a much-needed update to the icon (that I...
Blizzard just unleashed yet another patch to the Cataclysm beta last night, and with that comes more Cataclysmic model goodness! We've got some interesting new armor set models for each specialization (cloth, leather, plate and mail) and a few new weapons (including what appears to be Deathwing's mace)! We've also found some Cataclysm mineral vein models, a few new objects, and armadillos. I know you guys were thinking, "Man, how could Blizzard EVER top camels? Seriously!" - WELL WE'VE G...

So this week I take a look back through my experiences with raiding in the weeks and months prior to the release of Wrath of the Lich King and The Burning Crusade to give a little insight into what exactly is happening right now that's causing so much trouble for so many guilds. Why are so many players quitting their guilds? Why are so many quitting the game entirely? And just because I'm never content to just sit around and talk about how bad things can be, I give some tips and ideas for dealin...
Another Cataclysm model update, this time featuring camels! Let's all pretend we're not going to be flying around all of Azeroth and riding seahorses through its expansive waters and just be excited for yet another pack beast to carry us through our adventures! So far these camels are not tied to any specific items, but one can only assume they'll be used in Uldum (where wild camels can be found) and possibly linked to the Ramkahen faction, maybe as a reputation reward similar to the Talbuks ear...
