How To ICC 10/25 Tactics – Valithria Dreamwalker

The kill priority for the adds is:

• Blazing Skeletons
• Suppressers
• Risen Archmages
• Zombies
• Abominations
• Worms(which spawn on an Abomination death – AOE these).

The Blazing Skeletons do the most damage with a spell called Lay Waste, it cannot be resisted and hits raidwide for about 4k to 6k. Ensure these are killed fast.

The supressors will run towards Valithria Dreamwalker so these must be rooted and killed as if they reach her they cast a stacking debuff called Suppression that reduces healing. They spawn in packs but have low health.

Ensure your raid avoids unnecessary healing by avoiding the Column of Frost which appears as a white circle under a random raider and interrupt Archmages.

Make sure your mana dependent raiders are aware to avoid the Purple Void Zones as these will drain large amounts of mana.

Have your tanks turn the abominations away from the raid as an ability called Gut Spray will hit anybody infront of them, however the debuff DOT is a disease and should be dispelled.

The two healers on Valithria Dreamwalker must go into the Nightmare Portals displayed as green clouds. Once through the healers will be able to fly and must collect the Dream Clouds around the upper part of the room by flying through them whereby they will gain a stacking buff called Emerald Vigor that will boost healing and mana regeneration.

Although Emerald Vigor can boost DPS it’s not recommended as the focus is mainly on healing Valithria Dreamwalker

The four gates will spawn adds so its worth having two groups to pick these up following the tactics for 10 man.

The number of portals to the Emerald Dream is increased to 6.

The Archmages’ Frostbolt Volley(10)/Frostbolt Volley(25) now drains mana as well, but that shouldn’t be too hard to counter with interrupts.
